Welcome to the Island. You Are NOT a Lead.

The Good Luck Island Collective was created to be a place to learn, explore, ask questions, challenge conventional thinking, and figure some stuff out — without wondering who is waiting around the corner to sell you something.

So, let’s make something very clear:

We don’t want your financial planning or investment management business here.

Yep. I said it.

I’m a financial advisor and financial planner in my other professional life. But not here.

The Good Luck Island Collective is an educational community. It is not a prospecting system for my financial planning practice, and participating in the Collective does not put you into some secret sales funnel.

Our Promise to You

When you visit the Good Luck Island Collective, participate in our educational programs, complete assessments, join the community, or share your contact information with us:

  • We will not solicit you for financial planning or investment management services because of your participation here.
  • We will not sell your personal contact information to financial advisors, financial institutions, insurance companies, lead-generation companies, or other marketers.
  • We will not turn your educational activity into a financial-services prospect list.
  • We will not secretly hand you off to some mega-firm because you clicked a button, completed an assessment, or dared to learn something about retirement.
  • We will clearly tell you when something is educational, sponsored, affiliated, or commercial.

In other words:

You came here to learn. You get to learn.
That shouldn’t be revolutionary.

Unfortunately, in the world of retirement information, sometimes it feels like it is.

There is an enormous financial-marketing machine built around finding people approaching retirement. Search for the wrong thing, click the wrong ad, download the wrong “free guide,” and suddenly everybody wants to become your new best friend.

I hate that kind of financial marketing.

More importantly, I don’t want it here.

I believe people deserve an opportunity to become more knowledgeable before somebody starts asking for their business.

Because an educated person can ask better questions.
They can recognize bullshit.
They can challenge assumptions.
They can understand what they actually need.

And ultimately, they can make better decisions about whom — if anyone — they choose to work with.

What About My Other Business?

For transparency, yes, I am a financial advisor/planner outside of the Good Luck Island Collective.

That professional business is separate from what we are doing here.

If someday you independently decide that you want to learn more about that business, that’s your choice. You can go looking for it.

But we’re not going to chase you off the Island.

No ambush. No lead-gen trap. No “free education” that magically becomes six phone calls from a salesperson.

You deserve at least one place where you can learn about your future without wondering who is trying to monetize your uncertainty.

What good would a safe place be if we sold you out the minute you got here?

Exactly.

Welcome to Good Luck Island.

Stay curious. Learn something. Figure out what matters to you.

We’ll leave the tackling to somebody else.
